5. Finalise your ad |
Step 1: Login
The previewer location is https://previewer.weborama.nl. Here you can request an account and login with your e-mail address and password.
Step 2: Start your project
The first time you log in, you’ll see an empty screen and the message ‘no projects found’:
Press ‘+ Add Project’ to start a new project. Projects are folders that allow you to store creatives. In the pop-up you can give your project a name. This name is just for your overview and can be changed. After making the project, the new project is placed in a overview with all your projects. To enter the project, click on the name.
Step 3: Make a creative
A creative is the holder where your (template)files are uploaded, previewed and delivered. When you go into a project for the first time, you’ll get an automatic pop-up, where you can make and name your creative. After that you can press ‘+ Add Creative’ for the same pop-up screen. You can add multiple different creatives to one project, but make sure to keep the overview.
Once the creative is made, you’ll automatically enter that creative.
Step 4: Upload your files
Please note that the previewer does not accept the following:
- Folder structure
- PSD files
- folders in (.zip)folders
To upload the template and your creative files you can drag and drop a (.zip)folder or multiple files, or use the ‘Upload files’ button to select and upload the (template)files on your computer.
This previewer introduces the use of ad positions: the position where the ad will be placed. These positions mimic the positions on the live site.
Step 4.1: An IAB Banner
Upload the files with the drag & drop option, or select them using the ‘Upload files’ button.
The needed ad position can be found on the specsheet but are often automatically determined.
Step 4.2: A takeover
Upload the files with the drag & drop option, or select them using the ‘Upload files’ button. Positioning the takeover can be more hands-on, since those often have multiple ad positions. Please refer to the specsheet for the different ad positions that the takeover needs.
!important a takeover might need multiple creatives that all have their own files and corresponding ad positions. If this is the case it can be found on the specsheet.
To place HTML files into a new ad position you need to select the files that need to move, and push the button with the two arrows on the right of the screen. This gives you three options:
-
Create a new ad position and move selected ad elements to this new ad position
This option is great when you’re moving one HTML file -
Create a new ad position for each selected ad element
This moves all selected elements into their own new ad position -
Move selected ad element(s) to an existing ad position
This is for when HTML files need to be in the same ad position, but are not. For example: a header and the skins.
!important All ad positions must be unique. Even if you have two 300x250 banners, you must use different ad positions, in which case the specsheet does mention which ad positions can be used.
You can change or remove ad positions by clicking the box next to the name. Change the ad position when the right HTML file is placed, but the wrong ad position selected. Delete the ad position when it’s no longer needed or empty.
Step 5: Finalise your ad
5.1: Previewing your ad
Press ‘preview’ to select a previewpage and view your ad in our simulated environment. By pressing ‘Preview’ you’ll get an overview of all the sites your ad with the current ad positions can be previewed on. By clicking on the site, you’ll get a preview of your creative on that site in a new tab.
5.2: Adding the clicks
Each creative gets their separate click. Our templates have the default click already implemented in them, but it’s possible to have multiple exit clicks in a HTML file. You can find more information about screenad.click here . The URLs are linked to the screenad.click code with the ‘Add Clicks’ button. If you have multiple clicks, use ‘+ Extra Click’ option in the pop-up to add a new URL.
5.3: Deliver your creative
Once you’ve upload all your files, previewed your creative and are satisfied with it, you can deliver the creative to us. Clicking the ‘Deliver Creative’ buttons opens a pop-up. Here you can add people to the CC and add comments with your files.
!important Before you can deliver the ad, at least one preview has to be generated with the creative.
